One thing I learned about web 2.0 and blogging is that everything works in an accelerated manner, everything is ephemeral (creations, success, informations), but at the same time, everything is amplified: when you do something good, everyone will talk about it; if it's average, it will be totally ignored.
My blog's policy for now is to strike occasionally, but to strike hard. When you make a big hit, it'll work as a propeller. Progressively, your stats will go down until reaching a certain level, then you'll have to strike again. I think it's not necessary to have a perfect quality blog, everything that is constant bored. The goal is to seduce, not to keep alive smthg.
